Vishesh : Among day ragas Bheempalasi is a very sweet and hauntingly pleasent melody. The initial development via Alaap or behlave is done very artistically to produce the raga mood which is then thrown into waves with taans - chains of combinations lasting more than 1.5 or 2 rhythm cycles. The rendering of nishad komal needs practice with the combination G m P n S' n S n S rendering in this way will give the required higher shruti than to nishad.
