Vishesh : This is a much practised melody and it is very
impressive, beautiful and popular. The Malhar ang combinations viz; M
R P ; D N P ; mP DN S' N S D n P s dominates i.e. R - P sangati and
both nishads as in Malhar Raga. Gandhar must remain Shuddha here and the
early part S R G m (Poorvang) is the Gaur Ang. The Raga is also called
Gaud by earlier expert musicians. The following combinations may be considered
